Gondwana Records is an independent record label, founded in Manchester in 2008 by musician and producer Matthew Halsall and his brother, graphic designer and artist, Daniel Halsall.
Renowned for their sound and visual aesthetic Gondwana has helped define a strand of progressive jazz-influenced electronica, ambient, post-classical and contemporary spiritual jazz that has helped launch the careers of some of today’s most distinctive artists.
Matthew Halsall, Jasmine Myra, Portico Quartet, Hania Rani, Vega Trails and Svaneborg Kardyb are just a few to find their home on the label.
